Luvin' Autumn
Since my last post on Wednesday, a lot has been going on. Doctors, storms, power outage, and car trouble ... too much for one day!
My routine doctor appointment went alright. He was chatting with me in an unusual, friendlier than usual way and I felt that finally ... a doctor that cares enough to actually get to know his patient. :) Yeah, right! NOT ... he then announced that he was chatting with me not to be chatting, but to test my cognitive abilities! I know with MS, those things can happen ... but how tricked I felt. Doh, I dislike doctors even more! Thanks doc!
Then, we get to the car (barely beating the impending storm) only to find out it wouldn't start. We thought the battery was the problem, so a kind gentleman offered to jump it with his car ... no luck. Still, trying to get out of there before the storm hit, we called a repair truck & settled in to wait. While waiting, the storm came with a fury ... lightning, wind, pouring rain ... and here we are, sitting in the hot, humid car ... waiting. Finally, as the storm was ending, the repairman arrived, the battery connection fixed, 85 dollars paid, we headed home.
HOME So nice to be home, except there was no power! What a perfect ending to this trying day. LOL We survived!!
Looking for something more positive to think about, I thought about my favorite season, Autumn. This word art happened as a result. Enjoy!

sounds like a day from our life, i am sorry to say!! we get in the vehicle yesterday to find the back windows dont go down (electric, of course!) and the A/C hasn't worked for a couple of years now, opening the windows in the desert is a NECESSITY! lol That on top of finding our wash machine outlet has not been working and then the dryer outlet (seperate one) went out too!! been CRAZY! Thanks soooo much for sharing your WONDERFUL wordarts AND for visiting too!!! :) our days HAVE to get better! ;)

OMG i can't believe that I wasn't following your blog. I've had you in my EC favorites but never became a follower. I am now though :)
Sounds like you had one heck of a day.
Thank you for this beautiful, non-Halloween, WA. We have a fall festival at our church, and at times it's difficult finding appropriate ways to scrap our church experiences. Sorry to hear about your horrible day. This too shall pass. Thank you.
Great fall wordart. THank you so much, DIane

Thank you so very much.
What a crappy day all around. As someone else said at least it gave you something to blog about and inspired a cool picture.
My mother-in-law always said when you get lemons to make lemonade! Thanks for the yummy lemonade!
Hugs,
Lainey
